I’m Chris Trudel, a certified personal trainer and Level 1 CrossFit Instructor. I specialize in creating custom exercise programs for my clients while also counseling them on creating healthy habits outside the gym. It turns out that you can’t out-train a bad diet; believe me, I tried for a long time to do just that! My personal training sessions always involve a conversation about food. Whether it’s as simple as helping you gain awareness of your daily eating habits or delving deep down the rabbit hole of optimizing your nutrition, I will meet you where you are so we can make appropriate goals and move forward together.
A little bit about me:
Despite moving around quite a bit growing up, I was always somewhere in Vermont. By the time I was in high school, I had settled in the small town of Bakersfield, VT and went to school in nearby Enosburg Falls. After graduating in 2006, I attended Champlain College for one year before I decided my degree path did not fit with my developing passions. After years of neglecting my health with an unhealthy relationship with food, I decided to make some changes and committed to regular strength training along with a diet overhaul. It was as these extreme changes were occurring that I discovered CrossFit. Over the past 7 years, I have completed 1000’s of CrossFit group classes and competed in dozens of competitions. Training and competing in CrossFit lit a fire inside me and became my personal motivator. What do you think yours will be?
I believe strongly that there is beauty in simplicity. If you are looking to ride the coattails of the latest fitness trend or follow meal plans inspired by 5-star chefs, I might not be a great fit for you. If, however, you want personal training that is easy to follow, easy to stick with, and will give you motivating results, I’d love to hear from you!
